The Wells County Chamber of Commerce and its Ambassadors recently surprised Brandon Gerber and his team with the exciting announcement that BCG Capital had been selected as the July Member of the Month. Located at 112 North Marion Street in Bluffton, BCG Capital has spent more than a decade serving Wells County through real estate investment, property management, residential home sales, storage solutions, and commercial and residential development projects. What began as a real estate company has grown into an organization dedicated to transforming properties, revitalizing neighborhoods, and creating opportunities for individuals and families throughout the community.
Real estate has always been part of Brandon Gerber’s story. Growing up, Brandon was surrounded by the industry and saw firsthand the impact that real estate could have on people and communities. "My parents were involved in real estate, and both of my brothers have been involved in it as well. I just kind of grew up seeing how it works," Brandon shared.
That early exposure helped shape Brandon’s passion for real estate and community development. Although BCG Capital has been established for more than a decade, Brandon joined the company full-time in 2020 and has helped carry forward its vision of providing quality service while creating meaningful impact throughout the community. Today, BCG Capital has grown to include approximately 15 full- and part-time team members, along with a trusted network of subcontractors and construction partners who help bring each project to life.
BCG Capital describes itself as a "redemptive real estate company," a phrase that captures the company’s passion for restoring more than just properties. Through thoughtful renovations and community-focused development, BCG Capital works to create spaces where individuals and families can build a place to call home. "We love transformations," Brandon explained. "A lot of our time is spent renovating older properties—some houses that are over 100 years old—and trying to make them into a beautiful new place for a family to either rent or own."
Through their work, BCG Capital has helped breathe new life into homes and neighborhoods across Wells County. Their services extend beyond renovations, including property management, residential home sales, storage solutions, and commercial and residential development projects. Each project reflects the company’s focus on serving people, creating opportunities, and strengthening the community. The Gerber’s, and many of the BCG team, also continue to invest in initiatives that support the community, including the Wells County Dream Center, a separate organization that started to reflect the team’s heart for serving others.
Although BCG Capital has experienced significant growth over the years, Brandon believes the company is still in the early chapters of its story. He remains focused on continuous improvement, learning, and staying true to the values that have guided the company from the beginning. "We feel like we're still learning, still making mistakes, and still trying to get better. We don't feel like we've arrived," Brandon shared. For Brandon, success is not measured solely by business growth, but by the relationships built, the people served, and the positive impact made throughout the community. "This is so much bigger than our company. We're thankful for God, who's provided for us. It's His company, and we've tried to steward it that way. Without Him, we wouldn't be here."
Their mission is simple but powerful: leave Wells County better than they found it. "We're really grateful for this community," Brandon shared. "We're thankful for the customers we get to serve, our partners, our suppliers, and everyone who has supported us along the way."
