The Wells County Chamber of Commerce recently celebrated a ribbon cutting for Summit Hearing Solutions, officially welcoming owner, Ted Blanford, and his team to their Bluffton location at 921 North Main Street.
Summit Hearing Solutions is an independent hearing care practice that has served Northeast Indiana for approximately 15 years. What began as one location in Fort Wayne has grown to four locations serving the region, including Bluffton, Columbia City, and two locations in Fort Wayne.
Blanford brings a unique medical and military background to his work in hearing care. His experience, combined with a passion for helping people reconnect with family and friends, has shaped the practice’s approach to personalized hearing services.
“Helping you reconnect with those you love” is the philosophy behind Summit Hearing Solutions. The practice provides hearing evaluations, hearing aid fittings, and specialized tinnitus care, with an emphasis on improving hearing clarity rather than simply increasing volume.
Summit Hearing Solutions uses advanced hearing instruments featuring integrated artificial intelligence (AI) and innovative technology designed to enhance hearing clarity and offer additional wellness features. Depending on the device and available features, these technologies can help monitor health indicators such as heart rate and respiration, track exercise steps, support fall alerts, and provide blood pressure-related monitoring capabilities. This technology offers patients benefits that can extend beyond hearing, supporting greater awareness of their overall well-being.
Blanford believes hearing care should extend beyond providing hearing aids. Building relationships with patients, helping them understand their hearing needs, and providing continued care are central to the practice’s philosophy. The team is committed to personalized service, patient education, and making quality hearing care accessible. Free hearing tests are also available.
