University Dermatology Center, Central Indiana’s largest dermatology practice, has officially opened a new location in Bluffton. The Wells County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the expansion, which brings comprehensive dermatology services closer to home for residents in Wells County and surrounding communities.
The new office is located on the 4th floor of Bluffton Regional Medical Center at 303 South Main Street. They provide both medical and cosmetic dermatology services. Medical services include skin exams, treatment for rashes, acne, and infections, as well as surgical care for skin cancers, scars, and moles. Cosmetic services include Botox and dermal fillers.
Founded in 1995, University Dermatology Center has steadily grown to include 10 providers and nearly 60 employees. In addition to its main office in Muncie, the practice also operates in ten different office locations throughout the region.
“We are by far the biggest dermatology office in Central Indiana,” said Dr. Alexander Zemtsov, owner of University Dermatology Center. “Because we serve such a large geographical area, we strive to provide truly comprehensive services—from A to Z.”
The Bluffton office will be led by Julia Bouse NP, who will serve as the primary provider. “I come two times a month and am currently seeing medical patients, including skin cancer screenings and acne care,” Bouse explained. “We work closely as a team across all our offices, so this location really serves as an extension of our care.”
Dr. Zemtsov added that he sees tremendous growth potential in the Bluffton area. “I know this region well—I used to work in Portland—and we’ve already had quite a few patients come through our doors. We expect the office to get busy quickly as more people learn about the services we provide.”
University Dermatology Center’s team of providers is highly experienced in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Their services include the latest laser procedures, skin cancer surgery, radiation treatments, and advanced cosmetic skin care. The Bluffton office is equipped with multiple exam rooms and surgical capability, ensuring patients can receive a wide range of dermatologic care locally.
Patients can schedule appointments by calling 765-747-6090 or visiting udcin.com.
The Wells County Chamber of Commerce applauded the practice’s investment in Bluffton, noting that access to specialized healthcare not only enhances community well-being but also strengthens the local economy.
