The Wells County Chamber of Commerce and its Ambassadors proudly welcomed Meyer Renovation with a ribbon cutting celebration last week at their newest location, 10350 North State Road 1 in Ossian. The event highlighted not only the company’s continued growth, but also its deep commitment to craftsmanship, customer care, and community connection.

Founded in 2011 by Jason Meyer and his wife, Casandra, Meyer Renovation has steadily built a reputation as a trusted general contractor for both residential and commercial projects. Jason’s extensive background in the construction industry laid a strong foundation for the full-service renovation company it is today.

“Meyer Renovation was truly built from the ground up,” shared Jason. “I started by doing tile work and small projects. As demand grew, we jumped in headfirst, hired a solid team, and kept growing. Now we’ve got around 30 employees and subcontractors with the capability to handle everything from bathroom remodels to large commercial projects.”

The new Ossian location is more than just a workspace—it's a customer experience center. With increased storage and showroom space, clients can view product samples, plan out projects, and meet with a knowledgeable team ready to walk them through every step of the process. “This new space has tripled our walk-in traffic,” Jason noted. “Having materials and samples on hand means we can move projects forward faster and with more collaboration.”

Customers visiting the showroom are greeted by friendly and knowledgeable office staff who provide guidance on everything from countertops and cabinet finishes to full-scale renovations or new construction. The Meyer Renovation team is equipped to help clients navigate options and coordinate every phase of their project—from initial design and estimates to final walkthroughs.

“When someone walks in the door, they’re greeted right away,” Jason said. “We’re here to help, whether it’s a small upgrade or a major overhaul. We’re proud to be a one-stop shop—with a team of licensed plumbers, electricians, installers, and everything in between.”

The location also features unique touches, like an upstairs space for storage and occasional team recreation, as well as expanded loading and receiving areas for large-scale deliveries. These efficiencies help ensure timely project execution and better service for both residential and commercial clients.

Meyer Renovation takes on a wide range of projects, from kitchen and bath remodels to custom-built homes, office expansions, and even commercial renovations like hair salons and retail storefronts. “We’re about 50/50 between residential and commercial,” Jason explained. “Our crews are versatile and experienced—and many have been with us for 10 years or more. That longevity says a lot about the culture we’ve built here.”

Reflecting on the journey, Jason shared his gratitude for the local community. “We’ve felt incredibly supported here in Ossian. Since opening this location, the response has been overwhelmingly positive. We’re thankful for that and excited for what’s ahead.”
