Leadership Academy

The Wells County Leadership Academy offers participants solutions to the fast-paced ever-changing needs of business and industry in the 21st century.

Who should participate?

Anyone who wants to improve their leadership skills, develop stronger communication skills, and focus on creating a network of peer-mentor-business relationships. Our desire is that these individuals would then make a life-long commitment to community service and helping mentor new leaders.

This is a first-of-its-kind leadership academy for Wells County and is in collaboration with Huntington University Foundation’s Center for Leadership Studies. Classes will be based on materials developed for community leadership programs, written by Dr. Tim Elmore through Huntington University Center for Leadership Studies. Facilitators from Wells County will be trained by Dr. Elmore and will lead participants through a series of discussions on the wide range of topics.
